Hazardous and Non-Hazardous Waste Disposal Facility
Geostroy AD has completed the construction works under Phase 2 of the project Hazardous and Non-Hazardous Waste Disposal Facility, located on the territory of Stomana Industry S.A.
The industrial facility consists of nine waste storage cells. Geostroy built two key cells:
- Cell No. 2 for hazardous waste, with a total volume of 183,178 m³ and usable storage capacity of 160,027 m³.
- Cell No. 9 for non-hazardous waste, with a total volume of 85,623 m³ and usable storage capacity of 70,600 m³.
All construction works were executed in accordance with industry standards, alongside the ongoing operation of Cell No. 1 for hazardous waste.
Furthermore, Geostroy installed a fire protection ring around the entire facility.
