Geostroy AD executed construction and assembly works on strengthening of a 650 m long section of the ore transport tunnel conveying extracted ore material from Ellatzite Mine Complex near the town of Etropole to the Flotation Complex near the village of Mirkovo.

The scope of works included:

• underground excavations to conform to the required tunnel size and dimensions
• assembling tunnel supporting frames made of flexible, customized material
• sheathing and injection sealing of two-component resin into cracks in the tunnel lining
• complete replacement of the power supply network in the tunnel section
