On 23 July 2015, the Minister of Environment and Water Ivelina Vassileva, the Deputy Prime Minister for European Funds and Economic Policies Tomislav Donchev and the Mayor of Gabrovo Tanya Hristova opened the new Regional Waste Management System in the town of Gabrovo. In compliance with the contract signed with Gabrovo Municipality, Geostroy AD – a partner in Consortium “Eko Geo Dimas” – has completed its works on the reconstruction and modernization of a municipal solid waste landfill for the needs of Gabrovo and Tryavna municipalities.

The newly built landfill will serve the needs of over 77,000 residents of Gabrovo and Tryavna municipalities. With the successful implementation of this environmental infrastructure project, Geostroy AD has strengthened its position among the construction companies which have contributed to environmental protection and sustainable waste management.
